Setting up a User Account

When someone invites you to join MustardHub, you’ll receive an email with a secure link.

The invitation is tied to your email address and may include access to one or more Organizations you’ve been invited to join.

The link in the email is used to:

  • Create or confirm your personal MustardHub User Account
  • Review and accept invitations to specific Organizations

If you have trouble accessing the link or don’t see the Organization you expected, see C.7: Logging into MustardHub.

Accepting an invite and first login

When you click the invitation link, you’ll be guided through setting up your personal User Account, which is required before you can enter any Organization.

Your personal User Account is how you log in to MustardHub and manage your personal account-level settings.

On the first screen, you’ll be asked to provide:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Date of birth
  • Personal phone number
  • Acceptance of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

Your phone number is used only for security and account recovery purposes. MustardHub does not sell or share personal data with third parties.

Once this step is complete, your personal account is created.

After completing your account

After setting up your personal User Account, you’ll see a screen that shows what options are available next.

From here, you can:

  • Accept an invitation to join an Organization
  • Access other Organizations you’re already a Member of
  • Create a new Organization
  • Access the Marketplace
  • Try a different email address if you don’t see the Organization you expected

At this point, you are logged into MustardHub, but you are not yet inside an Organization until you accept an invite.

Accepting an Organization invitation

When you accept an invitation to an Organization, you’ll be asked to provide company-specific profile information.

This information describes how that Organization knows you and may be different across Organizations.

You’ll be asked to enter:

  • Display name (how you want to be shown in this Organization)
  • Job title
  • Start date with the Organization

This step exists because MustardHub supports being part of multiple Organizations. Your personal User Account stays the same, while your profile details can vary by Organization.

Once this step is complete:

  • You’ll receive a welcome email
  • You’ll enter the live Workspace for that Organization

Inside the Workspace

After entering the Workspace for the first time, MustardHub will guide you through a brief introduction to help you get oriented, highlighting:

  • The Discovery feed
  • Hubs
  • Points and wallets
  • Suggested actions to help you get started

This guidance is meant to help you explore, not to assign responsibility or require setup.

What you can access or manage inside the Workspace depends on your role. For details on access levels, see C.5: Members, Roles & Permissions.

Account and profile settings

You can access your account settings at any time using the profile menu.

From inside an Organization

  • Desktop: Select your profile icon in the bottom-left corner, then choose the settings gear
  • Mobile: Select your profile icon in the top-right corner, then choose the settings gear

When not inside an Organization

If you’re logged into MustardHub but not currently inside an Organization, your profile icon appears in the top-right corner.

Selecting the settings gear will take you to your personal User Account profile.

Managing your account

From your account settings page, you can:

  • Update your personal profile
  • Review wallet activity
  • View Marketplace purchases
  • Manage security settings

Changes made here apply to your personal User Account, not to any specific Organization.

If something doesn’t look right

  • You don’t see an Organization you expected
  • Your profile information appears incorrect
  • You’re unable to complete setup

No additional setup is required to get started.
